Ken Dickson BAcc(Hons), FCMA, CGMA, FRSA


Ken Dickson is the founder and Managing Director of Axiom-e.

Ken provides board-level input and advice with a particular focus on business planning, fund-raising and strategic financial management. A company director for over 35 years, his board responsibilities have included Finance, IT and Personnel.

He now uses this experience to help the next generation of entrepreneurs in countries such as Dubai, Nigeria, UK and Zambia by running courses that he has developed, such as The Pillars Of Business Success.



Ken has a BAcc (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow and an Executive MBA equivalent having attended the Unilever Business Education Programme at London and Bradford Business Schools. He is a Fellow (FCMA) of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the world's leading professional body for accountants in industry.

Before establishing Axiom-e, Ken gained more than 20 years of international business experience in leading multi-national companies such as Unilever, Sterling Drug (now part of GSK and Sanofi) and Rexam (now part of Ball Corporation)

Over the years Ken has helped an eclectic mix of clients for whom he has raised more than £10million in grants, R&D tax credits, loans and equity. He is currently Director, Company Secretary or Advisor to a number of technical and educational organisations. 


Over the years, Ken has used his business skills to help a number of local, national and international charities, churches and voluntary associations, including some in Zambia  seeking to relieve poverty. He is a Trustee/Director of City Church, Cambridge  and is on the Executive Team of Faith in Business .

When not working, Ken likes to climb mountains and go cycling, especially in his native Scotland with his 'Munro-bagging' wife.
